Fresh and soulful... Sexy and innocent...
the infectious sound of Anne Montone is all this and more

Anne Montone is a rare combination of endless musical talent and unyielding business savvy. Aside from being crowned the 2009 Los Angeles Champion of the Scion vocalist competition, the singer/songwriter has racked up numerous accolades through television and film placements, clothing endorsements, live performances, DJ gigs, international industry backing and rave reviews in both online and print publications.

What started out as a stint as lead singer of the trip hop group, Elephonic, has exploded into an impressive solo artist career. Throughout the years, Anne’s musical talent has graced the works of the Emmy nominated sitcom Girlfriends, the critically acclaimed film “Quinceañera,” winner of the Sundance Jury Award, and compilations for internationally recognized brands like Crocs and Scion. Recently, she was tapped by London Underground Shoes to be a vehicle for their brand. Shortly thereafter, Von Dutch Originals invited her into its Artists In Residency program, where she joined the likes of award winning talents like Esai Morales, Angie Stone, and Gary Baseman, to name a few.

As a performer, Anne has had numerous showcases and radio appearances all across the country including top billing during New York’s CMJ festival for the past three years. Always in the public eye, her talent recently caught the attention of Interscope A&R Ben Gordon (Jurassic 5, Mickey Avalon), Sly Doggie Production’s Christian Davis (Rodney Jerkins, Day26 – Making The Band 4), and Oscar nominated German beat makers, Steadyworks (Phantom of the Opera 2, Peter Pan). In addition to working with them on the completion of her second solo project, Anne has also formulated business partnerships by writing, recording and licensing songs with them for artists and brands both known and up-and-coming.

Rebel Industries CEO, Josh Levine once said, “Anne is exactly what the music industry needs: She’s got looks, endless creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.” Nothing could be closer to the truth. As Anne moves toward the future, she brings with her a long list of treats including a dance EP released in Europe later this year through Moodclub Music records, a U.S. single to hit the market via Scion’s A/V label, and a second solo installment released through her own label, Pushy Music.

"I've watched Anne Montone grow for a few years now. At the beginning, she was a great singer. Today, she's truly a great ARTIST. She's got it all: killer pipes, writing skills, a great look and above all, she hasn't lost the sparkle and passion she had when she started." - Howard Wulkan, Director of Creative Development, Yessian Music

As a multi-platform artist, Anne Montone has accumulated acclaim across all media - from radio, to internet, to interactive media, to broadcast television, live performance venues and film. For her debut LP, the imprint has revamped Anne's imagery, photography, media and design work, created strategic marketing relationships within the entertainment industry, and teamed up with top industry producers and studios to create not simply another album, but an in-depth experience for the Anne Montone follower and connoisseurs of great music.
